Our Margot dress’ namesake, Margot Fonteyn, was one of these women.
Dame Margot Fonteyn, the Royal Ballet Prima Ballerina, was the epitome of elegance and grace. She was known as the greatest dancer of her generation. Her sense of fashion and style were as dramatic as her physical appearance. She had a light olive complexion, long blue-black hair and a gentle face with stunning black eyes.
Whether on stage or in life, Margot was passionate in all she set her mind to accomplish. It is said that she never gave a bad performance, that her every appearance was sheer perfection, and that her magic never failed. She is a beautiful inspiration to today’s bride.
